Welcome to the official web site for Rick-Tone and other vacuum tube guitar amplifiers by Rick Campbell. These amplifiers were hand assembled between 1984 and 1992, and overall production was fewer than 500 amplifiers. A small number of Rick-Tone amplifiers were assembled between 2005 and 2014.

This site is perpetually under construction as new information is added and errors in the existing information is corrected. By making all this information available, I hope that musicians and technicians can continue to repair and enjoy the amps I've built long after I'm gone.

Do you own a Rick-Tone amp? Do you have pictures of it?
If you have pictures of your Rick-Tone or Rick Campbell amplifier that you're willing to share, please e-mail them to me.
